The DC2M17 is a compact motor-mounted step motor Driver and Controller Module, featuring programmable drive power and a modular connector system. Supports a wide range of motor drive parameters and step rates from 1/255th to 28,000 steps/second.

Features
The DC2M17 form-factor allows easy mounting to a NEMA17 step motor, and optional DC2M17-CASE gives added heat dissipation and physical protection. A wiring harness with color-coded connections is also available. Features:
- Programmable max phase current, up to 2A max (per phase) with optional heatsink/case (1.5A without case)
- Single input supply voltage from 8 to 35VDC
- Built-in fuse protection for added safety
- Programmable step resolutions: Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 step
- Drive step rates from 1/255th to 28,000 steps/second
- Four configurable input ports; generic or fixed-function
- Fixed functions include Home, Go, Stop, Limits and Jogs
- Two general purpose output ports can drive 1A loads
- All I/O can be referenced to external voltage from 5-30V
- AM Comms Control bus utilizes RS-485 (TIA-485)
- Status LED indicates stepping status and power on
- Programs and Parameters can be stored in non-volatile internal memory, and a stored program can auto-run at start-up
- Easy Command Line Interface, with over 38 motion commands and settings
